D'Allesandro's is a family-operated South Carolina pizzeria that's been hand-tossing neighborhood-style pizza since 2006. We build everything with real care — local ingredients, house-made toppings, and a menu full of character.
The corner of Bogard and St. Philip
D'Allesandro's opened in 2006 on the corner of Bogard and St. Philip Streets in downtown Charleston — a neighborhood spot far from the usual restaurant strips. That original shop set the tone for everything that followed: unpretentious, community-rooted, and serious about the pizza.
The D'Al's way
Every pie starts with a hand-tossed crust and gets built with local ingredients and unique house-made toppings — no shortcuts. Beyond pizza, the menu runs deep: calzones, stromboli, meatballs, sandwiches, wings, garlic bread, salads, and catering.
Built with character
D'Al's has always been more than a pizza shop — it's a neighborhood institution with its own merch line, an original music video called "Pizza Party For Life," and a daily 10% military discount we're proud to offer every single day.
Growing across South Carolina
What started on one Charleston corner now lives in two locations: our original Downtown Charleston shop and our Nexton Square location in Summerville. Same hand-tossed approach, same character — just more tables to fill.
